At Long Street Ink, our specialty is creating delicate, dainty, and meaningful tattoos, but fine line work is a little different from traditional tattooing.
Fine line tattoos use tiny needles to create clean, delicate lines. This means less ink goes into the skin, giving your piece a softer, lighter look—not bold or heavy like traditional styles.
Who doesn’t love a good color tattoo? Aside from the line word, I do not do any work in color. If you are wanting the word, or outline of your tattoo to be lined with a color that is fine. I do need a heads up as I don't carry all colors. If you are wanting a more traditional tattoo, I am not the best fit for you.
Yay! No better party than a tattoo party. Please fill out the party inquiry form to let me know any days of the week, time specification, etc. Keep in mind, I typically need a month in advance heads up, if not more, to coordinate a tattoo party.
Yes absolutely! Please fill out an inquiry form to discuss any details you have about a custom piece, and I'll get back to you to coordinate.
Yes, I do only do fine line tattoos. However, that does not mean I only do SMALL tattoos. A big chunk of my clientele are clients wanting to work on sleeves and larger pieces together, just in the fine line style. If you are wanting anything other than fine line, I am not the studio for you.
I do not take men as individual clients. I am proud to say I am (99%) fully female only. The only exception to this is if you are wanting a matching one with a loved one, then that is ok!
Unfortunately, cover ups aren't something we're able to offer. Fine line work relies on delicate, precise line work and subtle shading. That level of detail doesn't translate well over existing ink, even with lighter tattoos. The existing pigment tends to show through and interfere with the design, meaning we couldn't guarantee to give you the clean and refined piece you are wanting.
If you're looking to refresh or rework an existing tattoo, we'd recommend consulting with an artist who specializes in cover ups or traditional styles, as they'll be better equipped to give you a result you love!

Because there’s less ink in fineline work, some softening or light fading during healing is completely normal. Touch-ups are there to refresh your piece and perfect any lines that need a little extra love.
Your skin type, placement, and how you care for your tattoo before and after your appointment all play a big role in how your tattoo heals and lasts. We’ll guide you through all the steps to make sure you give your new art the best start.
We offer a free touch-up within one year of your appointment. Most touch-ups are ready to be done around the six-week mark. If you’re coming from out of town, keep that in mind when scheduling your trip—we want to make sure your piece heals perfectly!
